Recognizing this growing national need, Tengasco, an oil and gas exploration company, formed Manufactured Methane Corporation (MMC) as a subsidiary company to turn waste gases, principally methane, into usable energy.

Virtually any waste gas presents an opportunity for clients of MMC. Waste gas sources include landfills; sewage treatment facilities; wood product streams (in which wood is not used for fuel); and other sources of methane gas.

The potential is great for municipalities, county, state and federal governments and private companies to benefit from MMC’s services.
